Paul C. Little has more than 30 years’ experience in the insurance, reinsurance, and risk analytics industries.  Paul is the Chief Operating Officer at Protecdiv.

Prior to Protecdiv, Paul founded and was President of Maxfield Risk Consulting which specialized in risk management and analytics consulting.

Before forming Maxfield, Paul was CEO at Ultimate Risk Solutions, an economic capital software development company.  Ultimate Risk Solutions’ dynamic financial analysis software uses probabilistic analysis to evaluate alternative reinsurance structures, determine regulatory capital levels and measuring profitability at the policy and portfolio level while creating full pro forma financial statements.

Paul also served as President of EQECAT Inc. a natural hazards software and risk management (now part of CoreLogic).  EQECAT maintains deterministic and fully probabilistic catastrophe models covering natural and man-made hazards in over 180 countries.  First as Head of Global Business Development and Consulting and later as President, Paul oversaw the development and release of EQECAT’s next generation modeling platform, Risk Quantification and Engineering (RQE).

Prior to joining EQECAT, Paul was EVP, Chief Brokerage Officer and Director at Holborn Corporation, a reinsurance intermediary, where he met and worked closely with Protecdiv CEO, Kael Coleman, and Protecdiv CTO / CiSO, Lester Pierre.  Paul worked at Guy Carpenter LLC, a subsidiary of Marsh & McLellan, as Managing Director for more than 20 years.  At Guy Carpenter, Paul was integral in the establishment of reinsurance programs for several large public entity catastrophic risk pools as well as the analytics to support complex property placements.

Paul is a graduate of The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.  He holds a B.S. degree in Economics.
