Steve Skowronski has more than 30 years of accounting, finance, claims and consulting experience both in, and for, the P&C insurance and reinsurance industries. Steve is the Chief Financial Officer, on a consulting basis, of Protecdiv.
In addition to his responsibilities at Protecdiv, Steve is the President and Founder of KSRS Consulting, LLC, an independent, executive-level consultancy serving the insurance and reinsurance industry, insurance regulators, and insurance-related service providers, focused on financial, operational, regulatory and compliance matters.

Steve has had extensive experience at insurers and reinsurers (QBE, Caliber One [former sub of PMA] and Reliance) where he held roles of VP-Strategic Operations and Initiatives, Controller and Assistant Treasurer, and Director of Accounting for Claims. Steve also had significant experience at consulting firms (Grant Thornton and Smart & Associates) where he held roles of Managing Director and Partner, developing and leading numerous teams focused on the insurance and reinsurance space.
Steve has his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Rutgers University. Steve is a board member and current Treasurer for the Insurance Society of Philadelphia. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in Pennsylvania and is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).
