Sandra Thompson serves as an Independent Director of Protecdiv. She is a seasoned financial regulator and housing finance leader best known for serving as Director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency, where she oversaw the safety and soundness of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and the Federal Home Loan Bank System, as well as the broader U.S. housing finance market. Before becoming Director, she served as Deputy Director of FHFA’s Division of Housing Mission and Goals, where she led housing and regulatory policy, capital policy, financial analysis, fair lending, and mission oversight for the government-sponsored enterprises and the Federal Home Loan Banks. Sandra brings to Protecdiv exceptional experience in governance, housing finance, public policy, and mission-driven market oversight.
