Denise Hunter is a seasoned leader with over 20 years of experience in commercial property and casualty insurance, bringing a wealth of expertise across claims handling, underwriting, and business development. As Executive Vice President of Strategic Partner Development at Protecdiv, Denise plays a pivotal role in cultivating and expanding partnerships with leading global insurers and reinsurers. Her efforts drive innovation, enhance client engagement, and unlock growth opportunities for the organization.

Throughout her distinguished career, Denise has held leadership roles at prominent insurance organizations. At QBE North America, she served as Assistant Vice President and Business Development Leader, spearheading initiatives that elevated market presence and strengthened client relationships.

Prior to QBE, she excelled as a Business Development Leader at Zurich North America, where she demonstrated exceptional strategic relationship management skills. Earlier in her career, Denise honed her underwriting expertise at AIG, gaining deep insight into risk assessment and client service. She began her career in the claims department at Crum & Forster, building a robust foundation in specialty claims, including umbrella/excess, auto, and general liability.

Denise is deeply committed to advancing the insurance industry through leadership and mentorship. She serves on the boards of several organizations, including the Insurance Society of Philadelphia (ISOP), the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF), the Association of Professional Insurance Women (APIW), and the National African American Insurance Association (NAAIA). She has also shared her expertise as a guest lecturer and panelist for esteemed institutions such as RIMS, CPCU, Temple University, St. Joseph’s University, LaSalle University, and the Black Insurance Industry Collective (BIIC).

A lifelong learner, Denise earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with dual concentrations in Finance and Marketing from Seton Hall University’s Stillman School of Business. She also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Management from Centenary College.
