Sheila Ngu has several years’ experience in weather intelligence, risk management, data science, and engineering. Sheila is an Operations Analyst at Protecdiv.
Prior to Protecdiv, Sheila spent nearly 4 years with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) as a Transportation Planning Specialist where she analyzed funding needs and approved annual grants for transportation agencies in Pennsylvania and for special projects. She provided technical assistance, coordination, and review of programs being funded. Sheila also spent time as a Bridge Inspector – Transportation Technician.

Before PennDOT, Sheila was a mathematics tutor and resident assistant at the Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.
Sheila has a Master of Science degree in Integrated Scientific Applications – Weather Intelligence and Risk Management from the Millersville University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. Sheila is fluent in French.
